Rudder Post Crush Bushing

While looking on BYI site for the price of a new rudder post assy (not found) before I considered having my existing one repaired (weld & reinforced rudder flanges, damaged by PO), I ran across a part named "Rudder Post Crush Bushing". Does anyone know what this is? Where it is located? I am not sure if one exists on my M26S.

P.S. This site is really great. While I love the mystery and adventure playing with my 26S; it is a great resource when I become completely clueless. Greg
